Mary Jacobs

Mary Jacobs joined Flagship Pioneering in 2021 as a Talent Acquisition Lead. She is responsible for the development and implementation of recruitment strategies for several Flagship portfolio companies and origination teams.

Prior to Flagship, Mary spent over four years at Proclinical, a specialist life science recruitment firm leading early discovery and clinical research recruitment teams. She and her team partnered closely with a national portfolio of biotech, medical device, and pharmaceutical clients to support hiring projects across all stages of drug development, with a specialization in early-stage R&D, clinical operations, and manufacturing.

Mary holds a B.S. in Neuroscience, with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh where she conducted behavioral neuroscience research in the laboratory of Dr. Alan F. Sved.
