William Dougherty

William (Will) is senior corporate counsel at Flagship Pioneering focused on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. Will also provides actionable and strategic legal advice to management on general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Flagship in 2021, Will was a senior attorney in the private equity group at Goodwin Proctor focusing on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, venture backed financings and other general corporate governance matters. Previously, Will worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Philadelphia, Boston and New Orleans offices where he focused on private company tax matters.

Will is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and received his B.S.M. in finance and a Masters of Accounting from Tulane University and J.D. from Boston College.
