Thomas Keenan

Thom Keenan joined Flagship Pioneering in 2021 and maintains the relationship with Flagship’s partner travel agency, manages the corporate card program, and oversees travel and entertainment expense and reporting..

Thom’s career in finance and accounting began in West Des Moines, IA where he worked for Principal Global Investors (PGI). In 2014, he transitioned to a small software company in Boston implementing and supporting a billing, accounting, and reporting software for clients across the globe. He moved into the private equity industry with TA Associates where he managed travel and entertainment expenses, the corporate card program, and partnered with the funds team to allocate and rebill expenses to the funds and portfolio companies.

Thom received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Iowa State University in 2012. While in college, he gained industry experience through internships with IBM, Principal Real Estate, and Principal Global Investors. During his time at Iowa State, Thom also joined Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and was an active member of the chapter holding the titles of Fundraising chair, Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer.

When Thom is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Regina) and young daughter (Lily). During the summer they spend time at a family cabin in Milton, NH. Other hobbies and interests include an annual family ski weekend (Thom graduated from the tow rope and bunny hill to green circles and blue squares), cheering for the New England Patriots, and grilling.
