Sumana Ullas

Sumana Ullas joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 and is a Senior Scientist, Translational Sciences for Pioneering Medicines.

Previously, Sumana worked at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in Early Target Biology interrogating novel-target biology. Prior to BMS, Sumana worked in Immuno-Oncology at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research studying checkpoint inhibitors and potential novel IO targets. Before joining the pharmaceutical sector, she worked in Allergy and Immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital characterizing primary immunodeficiencies.

Sumana completed her M.S. at Roswell Park Cancer Institute after completing her B.S. at SUNY Stonybrook.
