Severina Haddad
Associate Director, Program Management, Pioneering Medicines
Severina Haddad joined Flagship Pioneering in 2025 as Associate Director of Program Management for Pioneering Medicines, where she supports the advancement of biotechnology programs across the Flagship ecosystem. She works with cross-functional scientific and operational teams to drive program strategy, coordinate development activities, and enable the progression of novel therapeutic platforms from discovery through early development.
Prior to joining Flagship, Severina served as Associate Director of Program Management at Generate:Biomedicines, where she led cross-functional execution of oncology discovery programs and supported strategic alliances with external partners. Earlier, she held program and portfolio management roles at Agenus, contributing to the successful IND submissions of immuno-oncology programs and supporting early-stage R&D portfolio planning. She also held program management roles at Abcam, where she managed complex multidisciplinary initiatives and antibody development programs.
Earlier in her career, Severina was a lecturer in biology at the University of New Haven, where she taught courses in cell biology, immunology, and evaluation of scientific literature.
Severina received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Systems Physiology from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed postdoctoral research at Yale School of Medicine, where her research focused on immune regulation and inflammation in the female reproductive tract. She received her B.S. in Bioscience and Technology from the University of New Hampshire.
