Rachel Roberts

Senior Director, Executive Operations

Rachel Roberts is Senior Director, Executive Operations helping to drive alignment, integration, and collaboration on leadership priorities and objectives across the organization.

Rachel joined Flagship in 2020 and was previously responsible for leading an institutional communications team responsible for internal communications, digital and social media, and creative content. She also led company-wide initiatives and strategic priorities and managed operations for the Communications and Public Affairs unit.

Prior to joining Flagship, Rachel was the director of the social impact practice at Clarendon Group, a consulting firm focused on communications, strategy, and social impact. She was previously Director of Global Policy and Advocacy at The Rockefeller Foundation where she worked closely with grantees and partners on communications campaigns, convenings, and creative content, and also served as chief of staff to the Senior Vice President of the department. Earlier in her career she was a senior analyst at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory at the Earth Institute of Columbia University where she developed programmatic, operational, and financial analyses to inform executive decision making and management. She began her career with Nature’s Classroom, an environmental science education program in New England.

Rachel holds a B.A. in biology and religious studies from Colgate University and an M.P.A. in environmental science and policy from Columbia University.
