Rachel Cammarata

Rachel Cammarata joined Flagship Pioneering in 2021 as Head of Research & Executive Search Operations, where she leads the talent research and search operations function within Flagship’s Talent Acquisition team. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing research strategies that support executive-level recruitment across Flagship and its portfolio of companies. Her work spans talent mapping, market intelligence, and operational excellence to ensure high-quality executive search execution.

Rachel brings extensive experience in executive-level talent research and search operations within the life sciences industry. Before joining Flagship, she spent seven years at The Stevenson Group, a boutique retained executive search firm specializing in life sciences. There, she served in several leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Search Operations, where she oversaw a global team of research and operations professionals and partnered with senior leadership to drive firmwide performance, scalability, and best-in-class search delivery.

Rachel began her career at Sharpstream Life Sciences as a resourcing consultant, supporting retained executive searches for biopharmaceutical organizations during a period of rapid company growth.

She received her BBA in Marketing from Temple University and holds a Certificate of Specialization in Human Resource Management.
