Mokshin Suri
Associate

Mokshin Suri joined Flagship Pioneering in 2025 as an Associate, where he contributes to the firm’s mission of pioneering early-stage ventures at the intersection of human health, medical devices, diagnostics, and emerging technologies.
Mokshin is trained as a materials scientist and chemical engineer. His academic work explored the fundamental properties of semiconductor nanomaterials, focusing on translating these materials into practical applications across bioelectronics, photovoltaics, and bio-inspired catalysis. His Ph.D. research focused on uncovering electron transfer dynamics in quantum dot – bacteria hybrid systems, enabling light-driven control of biochemical reactions.
Mokshin earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University, where he was both a Commercialization Fellow and a Lester B. Knight Kavli Nanoscience Fellow. He obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and collaborated with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on advanced photovoltaics research.
