Mo Hammami

Mo Hammami joined Flagship Pioneering in 2021 as Vice President of Finance. Mo serves as a strategic business partner to the senior leadership of Flagship’s ProtoCos and NewCos and provides day-to-day financial guidance and operational oversight to deliver value across the Flagship ecosystem.

Prior to Flagship, Mo was at Sanofi for over 20 years, most recently as the Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for Sanofi’s fastest growing business unit with more than $10B of annual net sales. Mo took other leadership positions at Sanofi including the Head of Global Management and Business Analysis in Paris, France managing a team of professionals responsible for the overall group financial results. Prior to moving to Paris, in his role as Senior Director Operational Analysis and PMP Office Head, Mo led a team of Portfolio Analysts guiding the Resourcing and Funding decisions for program transitions in Sanofi’s Global Pharma R&D portfolio. Before joining the Sanofi Global R&D team, Mo was the Head of U.S. Finance at Acambis Managing Financial Operations across 3 sites for R&D and Manufacturing.

Mo received his M.B.A. with a Finance Concentration from Boston University Questrom School of Business and a B.A. in Business Management from American University of Beirut.
