Michael Lopes

Michael Lopes is Senior Corporate Counsel responsible for advising Flagship on fundraising and strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Flagship in 2021, Michael was a Senior Associate at the law firm WilmerHale where he advised life sciences and technology companies on complex corporate transactions and securities law matters with a focus on public offerings and public company counseling; representation of early-stage companies and their investors; venture capital and other private financing transactions; and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael received his B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law. Michael sits on the board of directors of SCORE Boston Hockey, a non-profit organization that provides Boston youth with the opportunity to participate in the sport of hockey.
