Mary Apfelbaum

Mary Apfelbaum joined Flagship Pioneering in 2023 and serves as a Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal, where she manages and maintains complex global IP portfolios, leads IP Operations initiatives, drives process improvements and operational efficiency, and mentors and trains new team members.

Before joining Flagship, Mary spent a decade as a Patent and Trademark Paralegal at Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C. Earlier, she held various roles as a teacher, detective, and in the security industry.

Mary holds a B.A. in Criminology, Sociology, and Anthropology from Bar-Ilan University.
