Maggie Sahlman

Maggie Sahlman joined Flagship Pioneering in 2026 as Executive Partner, Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations. In this role, she is responsible for working with Flagship senior leadership to develop and manage relationships with institutional Limited Partners globally.

Maggie brings two decades of experience raising capital in the private investment industry. Most recently, she was a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at Charlesbank Capital Partners, where she led the firm’s global fundraising and investor relations efforts. Prior to joining Charlesbank, she was a Managing Director in the Private Funds Group at Houlihan Lokey, which acquired her predecessor firm, BearTooth Advisors. Maggie previously spent 10 years at Advent International, where she helped lead fundraising and investor relations activities across North America and Latin America. She began her career in the Private Equity Group of Goldman Sachs, focused on global fundraising and product management.

Maggie received a B.A. from Princeton University.
