Lily Katz

Lily Katz joined Flagship Pioneering in 2024 as Director, Growth. In this role, she helps scale and grow Flagship-founded companies by partnering with Flagship and GrowthCo leadership on long-term value creation strategy, financing, business development, partnerships, and organizational development.

Prior to joining Flagship, Lily was part of the Strategy & Business Operations team at Helix, a diagnostics start-up, where she led a range of strategic initiatives to accelerate growth and enhance operational efficiencies. Her work included new business line launches, strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional team management. Earlier in her career, she was a consultant at Putnam Associates, advising biopharma and medtech clients on product strategy, pricing, and market access.

Lily holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering with a concentration in Bioengineering from Stanford University, where she also earned a certificate in Scientific Communication. Her academic work included research in biomaterials and hydrogel design.
