Kritika Ramani

Kritika Ramani joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022. As senior principal scientist, Translational Sciences for Pioneering Medicines, she is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of translational research strategies to support clinical and preclinical programs for Pioneering Medicines’ portfolio of innovative medicines.

Kritika is an immunologist with a multidisciplinary background and brings 12 years of combined academic and drug discovery experience. Prior to joining Pioneering Medicines, she was a Principal Scientist at Evelo Biosciences where she led the preclinical evaluation of microbe-derived therapeutics for inflammatory and allergic diseases including two candidates that went to clinical trials.

Previously, Kritika was a postdoctoral associate in the division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology, School of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh where she researched the regulation of renal immunity and immunopathology in chronic kidney disease. Kritika’s has co-authored over 20 publications and contributed to articles published in Science Immunology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Science Translational Medicine.

Kritika received her Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh, following a Master’s in Systems Biology from the University of Hyderabad, India.
