Keisha Thomas

Keisha Thomas joined Flagship Pioneering in 2025 as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. She serves as BD Lead to multiple Flagship companies, partnering with leadership teams to drive strategic partnerships in support of accelerating company growth and continued innovation. In this role, she leverages deep deal-making expertise and cross-functional leadership to establish and execute impactful strategic partnerships, translating scientific and platform vision into compelling value propositions and durable external partnerships.

Prior to joining Flagship, Keisha was Senior Director of Early Innovation Partnering at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, where she led transactions across several therapeutic areas, including oncology and immunology. She has also held business development and corporate development roles at Ipsen Pharmaceuticals, Syros Pharmaceuticals, and Actinium Pharmaceuticals, with experience spanning early research platforms through clinical-stage and commercial assets.

Keisha began her career at Pfizer and in life sciences consulting. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Biomedical Science from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
