Katy Arabasz

Katy Arabasz joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as Controller. Katy is a finance partner to Flagship’s early-stage portfolio companies, providing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical support for decision-making.

Prior to Flagship, Katy was Assistant Controller at Synlogic, a clinical-stage public synthetic biology company developing medicines for metabolic and immunological diseases through its proprietary approach to synthetic biology. She was previously a Manager in KPMG Boston’s Consumer & Industrial Markets audit practice. She is also a licensed CPA.

Katy is a graduate of Northeastern University with an M.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance.
