Joe Montecalvo

Joe Montecalvo joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 and serves as Senior Manager, Strategic Business Operations and Analytics. In this role, he works closely with senior leadership on firmwide strategy and initiatives. Joe is closely involved in fundraising and investor relations, helps advance quantitative portfolio analytics and modeling, and partners with portfolio companies on business and pipeline strategy. He led Flagship’s finance digital transformation and now provides guidance and advisory support to teams across the organization on digital and data strategy.

Before joining Flagship, Joe was a Digital Solutions Consultant at CliftonLarsonAllen, where he focused on delivering data analytics and machine learning solutions to clients in various industries.

Joe holds a B.S. from the UConn School of Business, where he studied Finance and Mathematics.
