Jing Ge

Jing Ge joined Flagship Pioneering in 2025 as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, where she leads strategic and business development initiatives across the company’s early-stage portfolio companies. She brings deep experience at the intersection of science, strategy, and dealmaking, with a passion for translating breakthrough platform innovations into transformative medicines.

Before joining Flagship, Jing served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Deep Genomics, where she helped shape the company’s platform and portfolio strategy and advanced the application of its AI platform in RNA therapeutics. She led multiple strategic collaborations with academic, technology, and biopharma partners to accelerate platform development and pipeline growth. Earlier, Jing was Associate Director at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant Consulting), where she led over 30 engagements advising biopharma clients on global product commercialization, portfolio growth, and licensing opportunities across diverse therapeutic areas and modalities.

Jing began her career in translational research and biotech entrepreneurship. She holds a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she developed and commercialized a novel tool for genomic damage research, and a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
