Jill Goodman

Jill Goodman joined Flagship Pioneering in 2021 and serves as Senior Counsel, leading Flagship’s Employment Law function. Jill primarily focuses her legal work on in-house employment matters for Flagship and as an employment law advisor to its enterprise and ecosystem companies. She provides strategic advice to Flagship’s leadership team and Human Resources on all legal matters and policies related to their employees, including hiring, retention, termination, employee relations, compliance, and compensation.

For more than 20 years, Jill has worked in private practice as both an employment litigator, representing both employees and employers in discrimination, wage and hour, breach of contract, harassment, and similar claims. She also worked as a transactional attorney negotiating preclinical and clinical contracts in the biotech industry. Her prior legal work includes operating her own solo employment practices and roles at Millennium Pharmaceuticals (now Takeda), Citizens Bank, and Faber Daeufer & Itrato, P.C. (now Crowell Life Sciences).

She received her B.S. from Emerson College, her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and her graduate certificate in HR Studies from Cornell University. She is also a certified Professional in Human Resources.
