Erik Wilker

Erik Wilker joined Flagship Pioneering in 2024 as Executive Director, Head of Pharmacology for Pioneering Medicines. Erik leads a team of scientists who collaborate with Pioneering Medicines project teams, Flagship platform companies, and external strategic partners to advance a portfolio of therapeutic programs towards clinical development.

Erik brings more than 15 years of industry experience and has led pharmacology teams at Forma Therapeutics, Tango Therapeutics, Blueprint Medicines, and Exo Therapeutics. He has worked with program teams to support varying therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunooncology, inflammation, metabolism, blood disorders, and rare diseases.

Erik received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Texas, Austin, and a B.S. in Pharmacology Toxicology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
