Dheeraj Vadlamudi

Dheeraj Vadlamudi joined Flagship Pioneering in 2026 and serves as a Director, Program Management. In his role, he leads cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs from early discovery through clinical development, driving strategy, execution, and milestone delivery across Pioneering Medicine's portfolio and Flagship’s ISC partnerships.

Dheeraj brings over 15 years of experience in program management across drug discovery, development, and product lifecycle management. He has supported programs spanning multiple modalities from discovery and preclinical stages through IND-enabling studies to clinical development and product launches. Most recently, he led program teams focused on liver and cardiometabolic diseases at Mammoth Biosciences. Before that, he spent over a decade at Novartis in roles of increasing responsibility within portfolio and program management functions in Development and TechOps.

In addition to his industry experience, Dheeraj is a certified Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Dheeraj holds an M.S. in Business from the London School of Economics, an M.S. in Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences from ETH Zurich, and a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTU Hyderabad.
