Christopher Ulian

Executive Writer

Christopher Ulian joined Flagship Pioneering in 2025 as Executive Writer in the Office of the CEO. In this role, he works closely with company leaders to communicate priorities through speeches and the written word.

Before joining Flagship, Chris was a speechwriter to Administrator Samantha Power at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). He previously served as Chief of Staff at DGA Group, a global public affairs firm, where he advised the CEO on internal and external communications, led cross-firm projects and initiatives, and managed the executive office. Earlier, Chris helped lead communications at Albright Stonebridge Group, a geopolitical risk consultancy founded by Madeleine Albright.

Chris also has experience at the White House and the U.S. State Department. He began his career in radio journalism at WBUR in Boston.

He holds a B.A. in History & Literature from Harvard University.
