Candice Cantelli Meklis

Candice Cantelli Meklis joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Finance Operations. She is responsible for advancing financial best practices, systems, and processes to deliver operational and capital efficiency across Flagship’s enterprise of portfolio companies.

Candice brings 25 years of life science and pharmaceutical financial operations experience to this role. Prior to joining Flagship, she was the Chief Financial Officer for PatientsLikeMe, an integrated digital health and real-world data platform organization. She was previously Vice President of the Life Science & Financial Planning and Analysis Practice and a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Archetype Consulting where she built and led its life sciences practice, P&L, and strategy. Candice has also built various functional teams across finance at both Alkermes and Cubist Pharmaceuticals.

Candice received her M.B.A. from Bentley University Graduate School of Business and her B.S. in Finance from Bentley University.
