Brian Bouchard

Brian joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as Laboratory Operations Manager for Pioneering Medicines. In this role, Brian supports Pioneering Medicines’ R&D lab space expansion and helps to oversee day-to-day preclinical operations.

Brian’s professional expertise is in laboratory operations and management, cell culture and in-vitro assay, and he has held roles as a scientist, tissue culture lead, project manager, and a lab manager. Prior to Flagship, Brian was a lab manager and lab support lead for R&D at Biogen, supporting daily operations across all R&D spaces. He has also worked at Abveris, an antibody discovery CRO, where he established lab operations.

Brian earned his B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science / Biotechnology Manufacturing from the University of Rhode Island.
