Ashley Stolba

Vice President of Operations

Ashley Stolba joined Flagship Pioneering in 2026 as Vice President of Operations. In this role, she helps drive functional excellence across the organization and coordinates key functional pillars that support Flagship and its ecosystem of companies, including Facilities/Real Estate, Government and Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Intellectual Property, IT/Digital Communications, Human Resources and Talent.

Prior to joining Flagship, Ashley served as Interim Secretary of Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, after having served as Undersecretary of Economic Development for Governors Healey and Baker. During her tenure, she oversaw the investment of nearly one billion dollars into Massachusetts companies and communities to support economic development growth in the state.

Previously, Ashley was Chief of Staff at the Harvard Allston Land Company, overseeing Harvard’s non-institutional development of the Enterprise Research Campus in Allston. She also served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts Port Authority, overseeing a 1,300-person agency with an $800 million budget that owns and operates Boston Logan International Airport, the Port of Boston, Hanscom Field, Worcester Regional Airport, and real estate holdings in South Boston, East Boston, and Charlestown. She began her career as legal counsel in the Massachusetts state legislature.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. She is a resident of Boston and serves on the Boston Ballet Board of Advisors.
