Senior Manager, Talent Operations
Aranzazu (Aranza) Ballesteros is a Senior Manager of Talent Operations at Flagship Pioneering. Aranza is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the Talent function’s processes, core technology stack, and vendor relationships, as well as championing the strategic future of talent operations. In addition to day-to-day functional leadership, she is responsible for partnering with leaders and stakeholders both within HR and across the broader organization to execute critical cross-functional projects and programs.
Previously, Aranza worked at Adidas as a Manager in the Talent Acquisition Operations team focused on building reporting tools and analytics strategies for the global recruiting team. She also served as a Project Manager of the People Foundation for Adidas’ United Against Racism initiative. Aranza is passionate about finding creative data-based solutions that make processes more efficient, helping employees understand their purpose and use, and contributing to the creation of a more diverse and equitable workplace.
Aranza holds a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico with a minor in Political Science. Aranza is also a Data Analytics and Visualization Bootcamp graduate from the University of Oregon.
