Anagha Sawant

Anagha Sawant joined Flagship Pioneering in 2023 as a Senior Scientist in the Translational Science group for Pioneering Medicines. She is responsible for establishing translational assays for innovative portfolio programs.

Previously, Anagha worked at Pfizer in the Rare Disease Research Unit as a lead in-vitro biologist for various indications in Cystic Fibrosis, Rare Neuro, Rare Cardiac and Rare Hematology. She has expertise in establishing complex primary cellular models of disease in-house and building cellular assays to evaluate efficacy of various therapeutic modalities such as small molecules, large molecules, and AAV- based gene therapies.

Anagha completed her M.S. in Pharmacology at Northeastern University and has a Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Mumbai.
