Akosua Adu-Gyamfi

Akosua Adu-Gyamfi joined Flagship in 2025 as Vice President, Capital Solutions and Value Realization. In this role, she leads efforts to design and implement capital and value realization strategies that maximize value across Flagship’s portfolio.

With over ten years of experience in banking and corporate finance, Akosua has advised a range of clients from pre-IPO biotechnology companies to global pharmaceutical corporations through strategic and financial transactions, such as equity and debt financings, initial public offerings, collaborations, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Prior to joining Flagship, Akosua was an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group. During her tenure, she led and executed high-impact transactions spanning M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory, with a focus on delivering value through complex and innovative deal structures. Earlier, Akosua was a Senior Business Analyst at EMC Corporation, where she focused on pricing strategy and margin optimization across their product lines.

Akosua earned an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and dual B.A. degrees in Engineering and Biological Sciences from Smith College.
