Patrice Barnes

Patrice Barnes joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as International Controller.

Prior to Flagship, Patrice worked at Kadant Inc., a multinational industrial manufacturer, in increasingly senior finance roles across multiple areas including tax, treasury, accounting, SEC reporting, and acquisitions. Previously, she was at Thermo Electron Corporation (now Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.) where she oversaw the external financial reporting for the company and its twelve public subsidiaries and was involved in numerous initial public offerings, private placements, secondary offerings, and debt issuances. She also spent time as Controller at one of Thermo’s public subsidiaries. She began her career as a Certified Public Accountant at Arthur Andersen.

Patrice holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from Boston University.
